A routine police patrol through the parking lot of Federal Mogul has resulted in the arrest of a Floyd County man on charges of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute.Dennis Clinton Marshall, 31, of Willis also was charged with possessing a firearm while possessing a drug.
A Blacksburg police officer found three Federal Mogul employees taking an early break in a vehicle in the parking lot about 9:15 p.m. Thursday, police said.
Capt. Bill Brown said the officer investigated because it was not a usual break time for employees. He said several plastic baggies of marijuana were found during a search of the vehicle.
Marshall was released on bond and is scheduled for a hearing in Blacksburg General District Court on Feb. 26. The other two employees had not been charged as of Friday.
