MAHALICK, BERTIE S.

Bertie Scott Mahalick, age 73, died Tuesday, January 7, 1992, in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. She was born February 6, 1918 in Buena Vista, a daughter of the late Wayne Sullivan and Gussie Campbell Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Mahalick. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Donna M. and John C. Wheeler of Buena Vista; two grandsons, Mark S. Wheeler of Orangeburg, S.C.; Matthew Wheeler of Buena Vista; two brothers, Delma Scott and Marshall Scott, both of Buena Vista; a special niece, Cynthia Royer of Buena Vista; a special friend, Lillian Campbell of Buena Vista. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 10, at 2:00 p.m. from the Lomax Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lester Kennedy and the Rev. Jesse Traux officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home, 217 W. 28th St., Buena Vista, at any time. Lomax Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
