DAVIS, KATHLEEN V.

Kathleen V. Davis, age 90, died Tuesday in a Radford hospital. She was born September 16, 1901 in White Gate, Va., the daughter of the late Lucian Aurelius Vest and Julia Warner. She was a lifelong member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women and was the widow of Everett Lawton Davis. She is survived by a devoted nephew, Jimmie Vest, White Gate; one sister, Mrs. Irene Vest Faulkner, Bland; one brother, Clarence Vest, Bedford; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.D. Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Stinson Cemetery, White Gate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
