NEFF, ETHEL K.

Ethel King Neff, age 98 of 890 N. 10th St., died Tuesday night in a Va. Beach hospital. She was the widow of John Jacob Neff. She is survived by three daughters, Ruby Umberger, Wytheville; Mrs. Peyton (Imogene) Archer, Wytheville; Grace Miller, Va. Beach, Va.; one sister, Mary Jane King, Wytheville; one brother, James W. King, Roanoke; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren also survived. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Grubb Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Ann Blair and Rev. Norman Wilhoit with the interment to follow in the West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Grubb Funeral Home Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00. Those who refer to do so, may make memorial contributions to the West End United Methodist Church. The Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
