Mrs. Bill (Betty) Phipps Waid

Mrs. Bill (Betty) Phipps Waid, age 62, died Friday, January 3, 1992 in the Meadville Pennsylvania Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Steele M. Phipps and Verdie B. Phipps of Marion and Radford. Surviving are her husband, Bill Waid, Meadville, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Joy) Millenax, W.Va.; Mrs. Sam (Sandi) Benson, Pa.; Mrs. Lizabeth Montgomery, Calif.; one son, Philip Everhart, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dennis (Ella Mae) Strange, Calif.; a stepson, Ernest Waid of Meadville, Pa.; her mother, Mrs. Verdie B. Phipps, Radford; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Tucker, Amherst; Mrs. Donald (Patsy) Pafford, Alexandria; Mrs. William (Barbara) Rouse, Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Edwin Phipps, Radford; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Bruce (Anna May) Bradshaw, Meadville, Pa.; seven grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Lovell and Will Robins officiating. The family will receive friends following the services. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
