HARMAN, BERNIS C.

Bernis Cary Harman, age 72 of Roanoke County, died Wednesday, January 8, 1992. Mr. Harman was a staff sergeant in the U. S. Air Force during World War II and was a retired Boiler Maker from East End Shops of Norfolk & Western Railroad with forty years service. Surviving are his devoted wife, Shirley Musser Harman; his loving daughter, Dona Lu Harman; his special brother, Oscar M. Harman, Thaxton; his special sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Judy M. and Bobby L. Martin, Sr.; and Peggy M. Woods, all of Roanoke County; his loving mother-in-law, Donnie (Nannie) Musser, Roanoke County; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel Friday, January 10, 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Maurice E. Wright officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
