SCOTT, JAMES H.

James Howard Scott, age 61, passed away Wednesday in a Roanoke hospital. He was a resident of Skyline Manor Nursing Home in Floyd and formerly of Franklin County. He is survived by two sisters, Essie Moran of Copper Hill; Claudine Snead of Rocky Mount; one brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Mildred Scott of Rocky Mount; three sisters-in-law, Delma Scott of Henry; Gracie Scott and Willie Scott, both of Ferrum; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Early officiating. Burial will be in Ingram Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd.
