REASSESSMENT CALLER RUSH HAS SLOWED
The rush of callers in Pulaski County wanting to schedule hearings on their property reassessments has slowed down, County Administrator Joseph Morgan said Friday."Wingate Appraisal Service, which is conducting the reassessment, has advised that appointments are available next week," he said.
People should call 980-7753 for appointments at the National Guard Armory south of town on U.S. 11. The days and times are:
Monday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Tuesday, 1-6 p.m.; Wednesday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; and Thursday, 1-6 p.m.
Appeals also can be filed before the Board of Equalization. The deadline for these filings is Feb. 17.
The board is scheduled to complete its work March 13.
