OBIT CROY, A.

CROY, ALICE H. Marie Alice Croy, age 53, died Sunday evening in a Pearisburg hospital. Born in Pembroke, Va., on July 31, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Lanie Holdren Hilton. She was a member of the Pembroke Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Alden Carroll Croy; five sons, Wayne Croy, Pearisburg; Ted Croy, Jeffery Croy, Keith Croy, and Rodney Croy, all of Pembroke; one daughter, Judy Turman, Pembroke; one brother, Norman (Doc) Hilton; two sisters, Barbara H. Williams and Geraldine H. McCroskey, all of Pembroke; seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel, Pembroke, with the Rev. Barry Franklin officiating. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
