SPANISH ART IS SUNDAY LECTURE TOPIC

Art historian Steve Arbury of Radford University will discuss Spain's famous Prado Museum in Madrid and show slides of some of the masterpieces in the collection at the Blacksburg Regional Art Association's Sunday meeting.

The association will meet at 3 p.m. in room 110 of the educational building at the Blacksburg Methodist Church. The event is free.

Arbury, who holds degrees from Albion College and Rutgers University, recently finished a Fulbright scholarship that enabled him to spend three years in Spain where he finished his doctoral dissertation on Spanish catafalques.
