Ruth L. Kent and Matthew J. Pumo were married September 28, 1991 in
Presbyterian Church of Radford. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. George
L. Ducker. The reception was held at Tom Terrifics. The maid of honor was Cari
L. Kent, sister of the bride. The best man was Mike J. Pumo, brother of the
groom. The guestbook was attended by Terry Pumo, sister-in-law of the bride
and groom. The bride is the daughter of Louis and Nancy Kent of Radford. She
graduated from Radford High School and Roanoke College. She is employed by
Roanoke City Schools. The groom is the son of Arlene Davis of Baltimore, Md.,
and Anthony Pumo of Atlanta, Ga. He graduated from the University of Tennessee
Martin. He is employed by WJPR/WVFT Fox 21/27. The newlyweds are living in
Roanoke, after the wedding cruise in the Bahamas.
