HARRIS ANNIVERSARY

M.O. and Elnora Harris celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary January 5, 1992 at Christiansburg Church of the Brethren. The celebration was hosted by their children. They were married January 7, 1942 in Patrick County. She's the former Elnora June Wade. They have two sons; one daughter; and five grandchildren. He is employed by Montgomery County Sheriff's Department. She is retired from VPI & SU. Out-of-town guests attending the celebration included his mother, Claudia Harris Wood of Patrick County; and her father and mother, Dalton and Hattie Wade of Floyd County.
