LUGAR ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Lewin Lugar celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary January 10, 1992. A surprise celebration was held at the local West End United Methodist Church and was hosted by their three children and five grandchildren. The couple were married January 10, 1942, at Enon Baptist Church in Hollins. She is the former Katherine Wright of Hollins. The couple also celebrated their anniversary on a Big Band Caribbean cruise on the S.S. Norway.
