AKIN TO PUBLIC STOCKS FOR JUDGE HOBACK
I WOULD like to express my deep concern regarding the exhibition trial of Judge Hoback. It reminds me of the humiliating stocks in public squares of old.I am neither friend nor acquaintance of Judge Hoback, though if I were, I would be a friend and privately talk with him about any problem he may have. I would also be supportive and kind. Maybe these are lost virtues to some, but to have your peers execute such a heinous trial is beyond my understanding.
I hope this will bring back some kind thoughts and deeds to each other instead of persecuting our friends and fellowman in public or private.
With respect to Judge Hoback and family. MARCIA HANCOCK ROANOKE
