Mrs. Eva Marie Saunders, age 72, of Salem died Thursday in a Salem Hospital. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. Frances and Larry Matz of Elliston; Mrs. JoAnn and Carson Cox; Mrs. Beatrice and Morris McNeil, both of Salem; two sons, Arnold Saunders of Roanoke; Donald Lee Saunders of Salem; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth L. and Carolyn Saunders; Cecil W. and Debbie Saunders, both of Salem; one sister, Mrs. Paul (Delores) McNeil of Floyd County; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 26 at 2:30 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with Rev. Warren E. Booth officiating with interment in Restvale Cemetery in Floyd County. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel after 12:00 noon Saturday.
