BELLAMY, RAYMOND D.
Raymond D. Bellamy, age 64, of Roanoke County, died Saturday morning in a local hospital. He was retired from Life of Virginia L.U.T.C.; a member of Grandin Court Baptist Church; a member of the American Legion in Salem; a veteran of WWII and very active in sports in Roanoke County. He is survived by his wife, Marian Bellamy, Roanoke County; daughter,Linda S. Kearney, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Raymond D. Bellamy, Jr., Somersworth, N.H.; Larry Scott Bellamy, Martinsville; four grandchildren, Nikki Stevens, Matthew Stevens, Brittany Bellamy and Katherine Bellamy; three brothers, William E. Bellamy, Auburn, Ind.; Duard Bellamy, Butler, Ind.; Gene Bellamy, Elkhart, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Thurlow Hay, Auburn, Ind. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel, 1:00 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Robert Hamner officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's South Chapel.
