REPORTED EARNINGS

Ground Round Restaurants Inc., a Boston-based chain with an outlet in Roanoke, said Monday its net income was $1.13 million, or 10 cents per share, on sales of $54.4 million for the quarter ended Dec. 29. For the 1990 quarter, net income from continuing operations broke even on sales of $53.5 million. The company reported a net loss of $13.8 million, or $2.13 per share, due to discontinued operations. Quarterly sales were $54.4 million, up 1.6 percent.
