HOKIES' SONOVICK OUT FOR SEASON

Virginia Tech's women's basketball team will have to do without senior forward Dayna Sonovick for the rest of the season.

Sonovick tore the anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in her left knee while going after a rebound in Monday night's loss to Louisville. She also may have suffered some cartilage damage. - Staff report
