FUGITIVE CAUGHT IN '85 MURDER CASE

Carroll County authorities have apprehended a North Carolina man wanted in a 1985 murder and kidnapping case in Mount Airy, N.C.

Kenneth Junior Widner of Dobson, N.C., was arrested at a motel near here Saturday night, Carroll County police said. He is being held in the county jail without bond, pending extradition to North Carolina.
