CAN PROVE JAPANESE WRONG AGAIN

CONCERNING the Japanese politician's statement that Americans are lazy and illiterate and wouldn't work:

In a television interview on Dec. 7, 1991, a Japanese fighter pilot who was in the Pearl Harbor attack said the very same thing: that they had thought Americans were lazy and would not fight to defend their country, so the Japanese decided to attack Pearl Harbor.

History proves they were wrong then, and if the American people will start sticking together and stop buying their products, we will prove them wrong again. LUTHER L. HARDIN WYTHEVILLE
