ATTORNEY GENERAL SUES 3 CAR DEALERSHIPS
The Virginia attorney general's office has filed suit against a company and three of its car dealerships, alleging the company misrepresented certain vehicles it sold. The suit, filed in Bristol Circuit Court, names the Campbell Corp., Campbell Ford of Abingdon, Campbell Chevrolet-Olds of Bristol and Campbell Jeep-Eagle of Bristol.
The attorney general's office claims the company told customers its cars had been driven only by employees when in fact they had been previously owned by car rental companies.
James P. Jones, attorney for C. Richard Campbell, president and owner of several Campbell car dealerships, said the allegations were unfounded. - Associated Press
