BURCHAM, WESLEY R.

Wesley Roosevelt Burcham, age 91, of Rt. 2, Woodlawn, passed away Tuesday in Twin County Community Hospital. He is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Riddle, Greensboro, N.C.; Florence Lawson, Galax; Pearl Bartlett, Woodlawn; four sons, Dr. Carnie R. Burcham, Sr., Richmond; Mack J. Burcham, Mount Holly, N.C.; Friel G. Burcham, U.S. Army retired, Galax; Rev. Bobbie B. Burcham, U.S. Navy retired, Galax; a sister, Violet Cox, Woodlawn; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the Forest Oak Christian Church with burial at the Crooked Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Forest Oak Christian Church or the Pipers Gap Rescue Squad. Arrangements by Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax.
