Because of a reporter's error, a story in Thursday's sports section reported incorrectly that the double-overtime basketball game Wednesday night between Virginia and Virginia Tech at the Roanoke Civic Center was the first in the 106-game history of the series. UVa defeated the Hokies 79-75 in double overtime in 1976 in Charlottesville.
