TECH'S TONKIN TO MISS 2 WOMEN'S GAMES

Virginia Tech's Phyllis Tonkin, who sprained the medial collateral ligament in her left knee last weekend, will miss at least the upcoming games against Virginia Commonwealth and Dayton.

Tonkin, who will have a magnetic resonance imaging test on her knee, will be out as the Hokies face VCU on Saturday and Dayton on Monday, both in Cassell Coliseum. - Staff report
