3 MEN DIE IN WASHINGTON COUNTY CRASH

Three Washington County men died in a fiery car crash Wednesday on Virginia 91.

State police identified the victims as David Summers Robinette, 24, of Meadowview, the driver; and passengers Benny Ray Rosenbaum, 34, of Damascus; and David Ray Morrison, 23, of Meadowview.

All three were dead at the scene at the Friendship community in Washington County.

Trooper J.H. Thornburg said their northbound car went out of control and skidded into the opposite lane and back before going off the right shoulder, hitting several trees, turning over and catching fire. - Southwest bureau
