3 INJURED IN WRECK ON STREET IN SALEM
Salem police said three men were injured, at least one seriously, Thursday night when their car went out of control on East Main Street in Salem, flipped into the median and struck a light pole.The accident occurred at 10:26 p.m. in front of National Business College, police said. Rescue workers had to cut the top off the car to free at least one of the victims.
One victim was taken by helicopter to Roanoke Memorial Hospital and another was treated at Lewis-Gale Hospital and released.
The conditions of the victims were not immediately known.
