VETERINARY WORKSHOP SERIES AT VA. TECH
Dr. Keith Marx, a private veterinarian, will conduct a series of workshops on large and small animals beginning Monday.Topics include attitudes and behavior of animals, body temperature, pulse and respiration rate, maintaining animal health, cleaning and disinfection, cells and tissues of the animal body and the organs and systems of the animal body.
The workshops will be conducted 7-8 p.m. Monday and Feb. 17 and 24, and March 2, 9, 16 and 17, in the Phase II building, Lecture Room A, of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech.
There is no charge for the workshops, which are open to all youths between 9 and 18 who want to learn more about pets and farm animals. For more information, call 382-5790.
