OTEY, SALLIE

Miss Sallie Otey, age 96, of Rt. 1, Montvale, died Sunday evening, February 9, 1992. She was a member of the Montvale Presbyterian Church and was retired from the Norfolk & Western Railways Yard Office. Surviving are a niece, Virginia S. Moser of Montvale; nephews, Frank O. Smith of Montvale; James Douglas Smith of Williamsburg; a number of great-nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, at the Montvale Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dewey V. Page officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to the Montvale Rescue Squad. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.
