MacKENZIE, ALVIN A.

Alvin Ashton MacKenzie, age 71 of Route 2, Goodview, passed away Monday in a local hospital. He was a World War II Veteran having served with the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Laura H. MacKenzie; nine children, Rodney MacKenzie, Moneta; Edward MacKenzie, Hardy; Daniel MacKenzie, Roanoke; Donna Laney, Stockton Springs, Maine; Diana O'Neal, Oakville, Conn.; Gary Witham, Sacramento, Calif.; Lois Robillard, Orlando, Fla.; Bruce Witham, Watertown, Conn.; Steven Witham, Goodview; two sisters, Hazel Hallett, Houlton, Maine; Phyllis Storey, Princeton, Maine; 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 1992 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Steven L. Miller will officiate. Interment will be in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
