WEBB, CATHERINE Y.

Catherine Yearout Webb, age 80, of Salem, formerly of Dale Avenue, Roanoke, died Monday. Born in Floyd, Va. May 27, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Dora Naff Yearout. She was a member of the Grace and Truth Baptist Church. She was the widow of James Clark Webb and was preceded in death by a brother, David Yearout and sisters, Anna Y. Pugh and Mary Yearout. Surviving are two sons and daughter-in-laws, Norman L. (Pete) and Millie Webb of Williamsburg; James L. and Barbara Webb of Rural Hall, N.C.; three daughters and son-in-laws, Frances and Jack Barnes, III of Roswell, GA.; Pauline and Gary Ikenberry of Clarksville; Vivian W. Landis of Roanoke; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Ella Vade Vest, Elsie Spangler, Martha Shelor, and Celesta Yearout, all of Floyd; brothers, Taz Yearout, James Yearout, of Roanoke; Clarence Yearout of Floyd. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 13, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Preston Naff officiating. Interment will be in the Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Floyd County. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
