OBIT CRAWFORD, R.

CRAWFORD, ROBERT C.

Dr. Robert D. Crawford, age 78 of Roanoke, died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was a retired internist with forty years of service. Dr. Crawford was a member of the FACP, the AMA, and was an army veteran of World War II. Surviving are four children and their spouses, Susan Evanosky, Germantown, Md.; Robert C. and Carol K. Crawford, Roanoke; Dorothy C. and Billy Stokes, Knoxville, Tenn.; Ellen C. and Stephen A. Morgan, Roanoke; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside, Evergreen Burial Park, at 2:00 p.m. Thursday with Dr. William R. Klein officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army (724 Dale Ave., S.E., Roanoke, Va. 24013). Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
