ANCHOR SPLASH STARTS MONDAY AT VA. TECH
Delta Gamma fraternity will sponsor the 17th annual Anchor Splash celebration to help the blind Monday through Feb. 22.
Anchor Splash is a week-long series of events with various fund-raising projects by Virginia Tech campus organizations. Some of the highlights include a "Dreamy Eyes" voting contest - one penny for one vote - and a "Mr. Anchor Splash" contest to be held in Burruss Auditorium Feb. 21. Admission is $1. All proceeds go to Delta Gamma's philanthropy of sight conservation and aid to the Blind.
Last year, the Virginia Tech Delta Gamma chapter raised more than $9,000 and placed second in the U.S. for fund-raising for the sorority. This year the chapter hopes to raise $15,000.
