CHAMBER AWARD NOMINEES SOUGHT
Nominations for the Business-Industry Education Award and the Award of Excellence in Education are due by Saturday.
The two awards are being offered by the joint education committee of the Christiansburg-Montgomery County and the Greater Blacksburg Chambers of Commerce for the second consecutive year.
The business and industry award is open to any business that has impacted Montgomery County Public Schools. A plaque and certificate will be presented at the Christiansburg-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner March 6.
The excellence in education award honors outstanding teachers, administrators and support staff in the Montgomery County school system. The recipient of this award will be announced at the Blacksburg chamber's annual dinner on March 12.
