PEARMAN, JOSEPHINE B.Mrs. Josephine Burks Pearman, age 85, of 821 Prospect Ave., Pulaski, died Tuesday evening February 11, 1992, in Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born June 21, 1906, in Bedford, Va.; and was the daughter of the late Virginia McLauren Mosby Burks and Edward C. Burks, III. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamine Vincent Pearman, Sr. Mrs. Pearman was a very active member of Christ Episcopal Church, Pulaski, having served as past organist of the church, past Junior choir director, choir member and a member of the Alter Guild. She was also active as a volunteer with the Red Cross Bloodmobile and with Pulaski Community Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by three sons, Benjamine V. Pearman, Jr., Covington; John M. Pearman, Pulaski; Robert S. Pearman, White Plains, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Virginia Burks Pearman, Pulaski; two grandsons; and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. from Christ Episcopal Church with the Rev. Steve Weston officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Episcopal Boy's Home of Covington, Va. Visiting will be anytime Thursday afternoon after 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home.
