OBIT HICKMAN, P.
HICKMAN, PAUL W.Paul Winston Hickman, age 73 of Christiansburg, Va., departed this life Monday, February 10, 1992, at the Radford Community Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Shawsville, Va., on October 2, 1918. He was the son of the late Giles W. Hickman and Effie Price Hickman. He was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses, Christiansburg, Va. He was a retired employee of the Norfolk & Western Railroad. His survivors are his wife, Josephine Howard Hickman of Christiansburg; one daughter, Garnette Elizabeth Haynes of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.; a devoted son-in-law, Lloyd E. Haynes of White Sulphur Springs, W. Va.; three grandchildren, L. Mae Stewart, Timothy I. Haynes, and Daniel E. Haynes; two great-grandsons, and one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Howell of Knoxville, Tenn. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Claytor-Alexander and Penn Funeral Home Chapel, Radford, Va. Mr. Ralph N. Stewart will officiate. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery, Christiansburg, Va. Claytor-Alexander and Penn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
