HOSPITALS OFFER HEALTHY VALENTINE CELEBRATIONS

Hospitals in Abingdon and Bristol have come up with new ways to celebrate Valentine's Day.

The auxiliary at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon will sell balloon bouquets as light alternatives to the traditional box of chocolates Friday. Prices are $4 to $5.50, plus $2.50 for delivery. Advance orders can be taken by calling the gift shop (676-7276). Proceeds will go toward equipment or other hospital needs.

Bristol Regional Medical Center will host its fourth annual Healthy Heart Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday with free health assessment tests, educational literature and hands-on equipment demonstrations. - Southwest bureau
