OFFICER'S JOB IS SECURITY FOR ALL
I WAS PRESENT at what I am sure was the same party as Pam Hayth (letter, Jan. 16, "Arrested for seeking fresh air?").There is a difference between having too much to drink and being obnoxiously drunk. The job of the security officer is to ensure the peace and safety of all the people at the party, and if one drunk causes problems, then the police are called. The security officer and the police officer did their job. MARY SHANKS ROANOKE
