ROUSE, WALTER M.

Walter M. "Buck" Rouse, age 69 of Vinton, died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was a retired machinist for the Norfolk & Western Railway and a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Carr Rouse; sons, James Clayton Rouse, Vinton; Stanley McCourt Rouse, Roanoke; Robert Edward Rouse, Vinton; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother Jimmy Ray Rouse, Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Goens, Salem. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 1992 with the Rev. John D. Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Stewartsville Chamblissburg Rescue Squad. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel after 12:00 noon Friday.
