O'DELL, ODESSA G.DUBLIN - Odessa Grimes Huff O'Dell, age 79 of Route 2, Dublin, Va., died Wednesday night in the Radford Community Hospital, Radford, Va. Born December 12, 1912 in Carroll County, Va. she was the daughter of the late James Monroe Grimes and Marizee Melvina Goad Grimes. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Teddy Ray Huff and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Huff. She was a member of the Thornspring United Methodist Church, Pulaski, Va. and a retired employee of the former Kenrose Manufacturing Plant, Radford, Va. Surviving are her husband, Ishmael Curtis O'Dell; two sons, James Ray Huff, Tazewell, Va.; Winfred D. Huff, Christiansburg, Va.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Duane (Lou Ann) Lyons, Raleigh, N.C.; Mrs. Bill (Rose Mary) Moody, Pulaski, Va.; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; one sister, Martha Henley, Hillsville, Va. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Cecil J. Baxter officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Va. Visiting will be anytime today after 2:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 this evening at the Bowers Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bob White Blvd., Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the arrangements.
