WOODS, LEONARD E., SR.

Leonard Edward Woods, Sr., age 76 of Boones Mill, died Wednesday at a Salem hospital. He was retired from the U.S. Army. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lou and Richard Brown, Boones Mill; Donna and Johnny Cundiff, Vinton; a son and daughter-in-law, Leonard E. and Barbara Woods, Jr., Salem; one brother, Frank Woods, Salem; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Foutz, Hollins; ex-wife, Kathleen Mitchum; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 15, 1992 at 12:00 noon at the Lotz Salem Chapel with Rev. Henderson Woods officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
