GRIFFINS, NORTHWOOD OVERPOWER CHILHOWIE

The Griffin brothers had a big game Thursday night and led Northwood to a 81-61 victory over visiting Chilhowie in Hogoheegee District boys' basketball.

Jason Griffin had 21 points and six steals, and point guard John Griffin put in 18 points and made eight assists for the Panthers (14-3, 12-2). Jason Clendenin added 16 points, and Johnny Cregger had 11 points and eight assists.
