Otey Washington Harrison, age 75 of Roanoke County, died Thursday. Mr. Harrison was a deacon at Central Baptist Church. He retired from the N & W Railway with 30 years service. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Leona Hartman Harrison; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald O. and Diane Harrison, Salem; four daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Allen Carter, Charleston, S.C.; Barbara and Marvin Tinnell, Honolulu, Hawaii; Beverly and Steve Jamison, Plano, Texas; Debbie and Dale Cavazos, Richmond, Va.; six brothers, George M. Harrison, Salem; Mitchell Harrison, Claude Harrison, both of Roanoke; Elmer Kingery, Johnny Kingery, Roanoke Co.; Arlie Kingery, Calloway; two sisters, Christine Sexton and Irene Vickers, both of Roanoke; nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 1992 with Rev. David Henderson and Rev. Fred Devan officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shella Harrison for Brandy, c/o Roanoke County Schools Credit Union, 608 S Market St., Salem, Va. 24153.
