The Pulaski County School Board is considering a new discipline model aimed at improving student behavior.Rebecca Phillips, a Pulaski County High School teacher, gave the board an update Thursday night on the work of the Task Force for Responsible Student Behavior and recommended a model to be considered for use in the coming year.
The board will study it and decide whether to adopt or modify it.
The board also scheduled a meeting on the high school's curriculum guide for Tuesday at 11 a.m., and will have a joint meeting with the county Board of Supervisors March 2.
The School Board's regular March 12 meeting will start early, at 6 p.m., and include a public hearing on its proposed budget.
Visits to schools by members of both boards are planned for March 17.
The board reviewed a new policies and procedures handbook for its Alternative School Program, which started this year.
