TOWNS' HOLIDAY PLANS ANNOUNCED

Here is the holiday schedule for trash collection and other municipal services in the New River Valley area:

\ Christiansburg: Town offices, the Recreation Center and Senior Center are closed. Garbage normally collected Monday will be picked up Tuesday. Garbage should be placed by the street before 8 a.m.

\ Blacksburg: Administrative offices at the Municipal Building, Blacksburg Transit and Community Center are closed. Blacksburg buses, the Community Center gym and Bob's Refuse-Recycling collections will operate on regular schedule.

\ Radford: Trash normally collected Monday will be picked up Tuesday. Garbage should be placed out for collection by 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
