2 MEN ARRESTED AFTER BREAK-INS IN WYTHEVILLE
Police have arrested two Wythe County men on charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny at three Wytheville businesses.A joint investigation by the Wytheville Police Department and Virginia State Police led to the arrests of Michael Stuart Kime and Roger Lee Hurley.
Kime was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
Wytheville police said most of the stolen property was recovered as well as property from two other break-ins in the Stoney Fork area.
The break-ins occurred at Nationwide Insurance, the accounting office of Thomas P. Cassell Jr. and the Mount Rogers workshop early Tuesday, possibly when authorities were concerned with a Main Street fire that gutted the Family Resource Center's shelter for abused women and children.
