2 MEN ARRESTED AFTER BREAK-INS IN WYTHEVILLE

Police have arrested two Wythe County men on charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny at three Wytheville businesses.

A joint investigation by the Wytheville Police Department and Virginia State Police led to the arrests of Michael Stuart Kime and Roger Lee Hurley.

Kime was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

Wytheville police said most of the stolen property was recovered as well as property from two other break-ins in the Stoney Fork area.

The break-ins occurred at Nationwide Insurance, the accounting office of Thomas P. Cassell Jr. and the Mount Rogers workshop early Tuesday, possibly when authorities were concerned with a Main Street fire that gutted the Family Resource Center's shelter for abused women and children.
