DANCE PROGRAM AT HOLLINS COLLEGE
"Yellow River," a work by Hollins College assistant dance professor Li Chiao-Ping, will be presented Wednesday in conjunction with the Symposium on Women's Issues and Founder's Day celebration at the school.The performance will be at 8 p.m. in Hollins Theatre. It is open to the public at no charge.
Li is a native of San Francisco and holds a master's degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. Her awards include Los Angeles Arts Council awards for choreography in 1987 and performance in 1988. She will choreograph "Don Giovanni" for Opera Roanoke in May.
