Lisa Gail Maxey and Kevin James Taylor were united in marriage on January
4, 1992 in Crystal-Spring Baptist Church by Rev. Leland. Stacy Brown, sister
of the bride, was matron of honor. The bridesmaid was Trudy Rider, friend of
the bride. Jessica Taylor was the flowergirl. C.J. Taylor served as his son's
best man. The ushers were Rich Maxey, Charles Taylor and Randy Taylor. Nathan
Collins was the ringbearer. Sandra Cannaday was the guestbook attendant. The
bride is the daughter of Donald Maxey and Brenda L. Byrd of Roanoke. She is
employed by Allstate Ins. Co. The groom is the son of C.J. and Mary Taylor of
Salem. He is employed by Tweeds, Inc. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
