LINKOUS, STEDSON A., SR.

Stedson Adele Linkous Sr., age 77, died Saturday, February 15, 1992, at the V.A. Medical Center, Salem. He was born in Lynchburg on October 7, 1914, and was a retired employee of R.A.A.P. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Cruise Linkous. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Dreama Cox and Ron Rhodes, Roanoke; Linda L. and Bruce R. Jones, Riner; Brenda F. Linkous, Blacksburg; two sons and daughter-in-law, Stedson Adele Linkous Jr., Craigsville; Terry Lee and Mary A. Linkous, Blacksburg; six grandchildren, Stedson Adele Linkous III, John Michael Linkous, Matthew Benjamin Linkous, Heather Renee Cox, Michael Thomas Cox, Tasha Denise Jones. A graveside service will be Wednesday, February 19, at 2:00 p.m. in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Bobby E. Fuller will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
