Cindy Martin scored 18 points to lead Pulaski County to an easy 60-42 girls' basketball victory over William Fleming in a Roanoke Valley District contest on Monday.The Cougars (17-3 overall, 9-3 district) led 32-14 at haltime and were never seriously threatened.
Terri Garland added 12 points for Pulaski County. The point-guard also blocked six shots.
Marqueetta Randolph led the Colonels with 12 points. \
BOYS
Carroll County 60
Radford 45
Jason Stockner and Ben Sumner scored 16 points apiece to pace Carroll County over New River District foe Radford.
The Cavaliers (12-7 overall, 3-2 district) took control of the contest in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Bobcats 23-7.
Duane Pierson led Radford (3-17, 1-4) with 14 points and Chris Smith chipped in 12. \

BUCKINGHAM - The Knights had five players score in double figures in a Seminole District victory over the Golden Eagles.
Kevin Soloman had 20 points and Gary Toney 19 as Buckingham County improved to 10-8.
Staunton River (9-9) got 22 points from Eric Flood, 17 from Brandon Harris and 14 from Mike Moon. The Golden Eagles trailed 20-8 after the first quarter and never quite recovered. \
