CUT EXECUTIVE PAY AND PRICE OF GOODS

IF WE ARE to beat the recession and deficit, we must hold people responsible for the savings-and-loan problem. Treat it as a drug deal: Seize all assets and sell them according to the profit that they received from their tour in the business. Then give them a jail sentence.

Reduce chief executives' salaries; after all, they are only figureheads and don't know anything about how it works. No one is worth the money they get.

Reduce all goods by one-third of their fair price. This is just a starter. If you voters like this idea, send a copy to your congressman. TED DITILLO ROANOKE
